Secret Trees

Interactive installation, 2026

Tell your secret to the tin can telephone hanging out of the tree, and watch as a nest of butterflies in the tree lights up! Then watch one of the butterflies take your secret and carry it away into the ether, never to return. In this manner, we can unburden ourselves of the weight of carrying our secrets alone, without betraying any confidences.

As seen in Night Light 2026 (Calgary) and Nuit Blanche 2026 (Toronto).
