The common understanding of Sex Work is that it is wrong because women are obliged to sell their bodies. We All Sell Our Bodies Under Capitalism directly challenges the notion that selling one’s body is wrong by displaying many careers in which one could be considered to be selling their body. All of these careers are considered to be “honest work,” in which one trades the presence of their physical body for currency - so why are Sex Workers told not to do exactly that? Honestly, it sounds like “selling your body” is more of a problem having to do with Capitalism than having to do with Sex Work.
